Be proud of all you overcome…

I  have  light many candles in my lifetime

Have  had many candles in windows  for those returning  Home

Either  home into Gods Hands or  Home and  into  my  arms

Music also plays a very large part in my life

Many times  bring not what the Artists intended

But emotions…

And again I start off with a New year, new hopes and dreams

10 years ago yesterday I held the hand of my  Sister promising  to honor

hwe final wishes as she ceased  fighting  Cancer New Years Eve.…

Where is Christmas  ??

Many of us  have to struggle to  find it..

Admittedly  I am one of those

Knowing I can Never Replace those Gone

but Not Forgotten…

For many of us life has changed

Losing our Mates, Children, Family  Members, Friends

and yes even our Furry Companions.…

First I wish to Welcome All New Members

Survivor of Yesterdays

As I look back a many of my yesterdays

I realized I was a survivor

Just as my ancestors were

The trials facied by each of us

In our Yesterdays has made us stronger

And in some cases wiser

Many of us had to make choices

Hard life or death choices

Yet here we are

Living another unpromised day

No matter what is faced today

It will be a great day

Simply because we are…

Yes there were words of love in his remark

Grandma you need a new step stool

A old stool that has paint on it

The padded top is no longer padded

that’s what i see at the end of many of my veterans days

coming home from wars torn and beaten inside

many hearts filled with anger and pain

hearts turned into half mast flags that cling to the memories

the brothers lost, the good times…

Nothing is as it was yesterday



Nothing will be the same as Tomorrow



When Tomorrow becomes today



So it's a Great Day to be alive



To witness that which will never again be



Everything changes

Before many came to your lands or our lands from faraway places

We had One Great Spirit known to our Ancestors and Many Spirit Guides..

Many now call the Great Spirit “GOD”

Leaving many to believe they had been blessed with the Spirit of the Wolf, Eagle, Owl, or Bear and many other Spirits.

Yet on the eve of a Loved One moving on to a better place I witnessed

You learned quickly never question God

For the last few days I have been alone

And it has been a saving grace for me

God knew before we were born

Every single trial and blessing we would live

Through out our lifetime

He knew when we would stray
