I Live In Fear

The  fear of the unknown surrounds me

It knocks me to my knees

In prayer   and I try to  hand it to God

I learned to listen

As veterans and  soldiers  reached the breaking point

Always prepared with  numbers and names

Those  more qualified to help them

Yet in this world we are living in

There is more chaos

It is no longer just my Veterans and Soldiers  who talk

about Suicide

Which is  haard to deal with

Now it has  again raised it's ugly head in the lives of

Friends and Family

Will God guide me in the right way

I do not know

Am I strong enough to  handle it all 

I  pray  I am

Yet I live in fear

As the word suicide rolls off their tongues

As easy as if they were saying I am fine
