Checking Engine Lights
Well I got the cars check engine light codes, repaired and now the light is off again..

But what about you?? have you checked your engine light lately??
You have a nagging little pain or thoughts.. Well maybe like me its time you got yourself checked out...

So many birthdays in March yet the ones that bring back the memories are my husband and mine. Remembering the good and bad and knowing We survived them all Together..On the day we packed away his AF Uniform we knew there would never be another birthday seperated  and we never were Until  this year..Cherish those in your life …

While I was getting another shipment headed for my guys in Iraq and Africa I got this notice from another Veteran who works to help those on the edge after being deployed..So thought I would share just in case anyone wants to send out a card or letter....

Yes this little Sister has earned her wings.

She said it was minor surgery last week, but we lost her this weekend..

Again it hits home

Back in my day there were no Blue Lights put out when a Officer of the Law Lost their Life

I was fortunate as a Child I never had to live through the loss of a Father, but on many of the calls my Father responded to as a Police Officer and Sheriff we still lived with a Fear..

Now another Officer has lost his life just a few miles from me. Sgt. Goodding, A Husband, Father of 2 and a Man who loved his Community, who was always out there for At Risk Children…

How Can It Be??

That you can find happiness in the death of another??

Some known to me and others unknown

For many years…

There is No Greater Sin

Than ignoring our God

And his Soldiers and Veterans

God Died for Us All

Our Military has sacrificed and died for us all

Every Right we have has been protected by

Men and Women in Uniform

Not a greedy Politician

Or a preacher rolling in cash in a glass Cathedral

It is time to Thank God for our…

Those of my age you see

To have lived in the time when

Kids could run free

To play free

Streets were safe for everybody

Doors were left open

The yard not all fenced in

In the days we all could walk

Anytime on the city streets

In a time when guns went to schools

Without anyone getting shot

We went many places

Without any fears

Just happy and free



A time when those who lived around…

I remember and lived the times and as a woman who has always had someone in Uniform in my life I can honestly say I was ashamed of my Country and how they treated our Military during the Vietnam War and After..

That is how I live even today with all the technology.. I look around at my neighbors and wonder if they realize they are suffocating mother earth , starving all the creation that could be brought forth by mother nature, flooding our rivers and streams with trash and polutants and changing the air we breathe.
