That's a hard question! I believe I would be here along with many more of my family. We have racism and prejudice today but back then it was total genocide for many of the Native American tribes. It almost sounds a little cruel to wish our ancestors had only dealt with prejudice but how many more would have family lines alive today?
Now on the other hand if you are talking about today's society rash of obesity, disease and drugs that question could be debatable. Still I believe what is written in the stars is simply written in the stars...
