Operation Cupcake: British Intelligence Replaced Al Qaeda’s Online Bomb Making Guide With Recipes

Taking on Al Qaeda has been an arduous, draining task for our nation and for our allies, but who’s to say you can’t have a little bit of light-hearted fun while ridding the world of terrorists who’d like to see us all someday annihilated?

Britain’s Secret Intelligence Service (known also as “MI6″) and The Government Communications Headquarters (GCHQ) recently struck against Al Qaeda’s online magazine by replacing instructions for making a homemade bomb “in the Kitchen of your Mom” –… Continue

Having Asthma.....

..... with No Insurance...

Well, I thought my asthma was gone, or at least under such control that I have had absolutely no symptoms in about two years now.

Well, past couple of nights I developed the wheezy symptoms of asthma at sunset that last through the night. Not so bad I cannot breathe but can tell with exertion of any kind, doing my Aerobics after lifting weights, power walks, treadmill and step machine out of the question. I have been trying to think what would… Continue

Possession of Hawk, Eagle and other bird of prey feathers

I felt important to post this since I reminded myself when I saw a feather the other day and was tempted to bring home that I was not supposed to. I am not NA so against the law for me to even have in my possession.

I used to have quite the collection of lovely feathers then when somebody told me about the law I got scared that I would get busted… Continue

Big domestic cats there big

Cats are probably the most popular of pets nowadays. Originally valued for their inbred ability to hunt various house pests such as mice and roaches, cats also offer a warm and affectionate companionship to their owners. In 1987, cats overtook dogs as the number one pet in America (about 50 million cats resided in 24 million homes in 1986) and bout 37% of American homes today have at least one cat. Domestication of cats were first believed to have originated in ancient Egypt in about 3000 BC,… Continue

A Passamaquoddy Legend enjoy

What the Micmacs call a Chenoo is known to the Passamaquoddies as a Kewahqu' or Kewoqu'. And this is their origin. When the k'tchi m'téoulin, or Great Big Witch, is conquered by the smaller witches, or M'téoulinssisk, they can kill him or turn him into a Kewahqu'. He still… Continue

A short essay on the golden rule.

The golden rule is endorsed by all the great world religions; Jesus, Hillel, and Confucius used it to summarize their ethical teachings. And for many centuries the idea has been influential among people of very diverse cultures. These facts suggest that the golden rule may be an important moral truth.

Let's consider an example of how the rule is used. President Kennedy in 1963 appealed to the golden rule in an anti-segregation speech at the time of the first black enrollment at the… Continue

Glen Cove

For the first two weeks I was at Glen Cove protecting an ancient burial site from being turned into a park. I had to come back to see a liver specialist. He told me that I have cirrhosis of the liver and possibly could have liver cancer but he isn't sure and I hope that he is wrong but I have to go take some tests now. I am planning on going back up to Glen Cove soon. Please keep the warriors protecting this site in your prayers. Here is a link where you can get daily updates on what is going… Continue

Robbie Robertson: The Band Man Plays On

By Wilhelm Murg April 4, 2011

Robbie Robertson was born in 1943, which meant he was learning to play guitar when the rock-and-roll revolution changed popular music forever. It certainly changed Robertson’s life; as a teenager he played in a few different bands, gigging around his home town of Toronto, and by 1960 he was on the road as the full-time lead guitarist in Ronnie Hawkins’ backing band The Hawks. By 1964, the Hawks split off to do their own thing; in September 1965 they were… Continue

A Brief History of the American Indian Movement

A Brief History of the American Indian Movement

by Laura Waterman Wittstock and Elaine J. Salinas

In the 30 years of its formal history, the American Indian Movement (AIM) has given witness to a great many changes. We say formal history, because the movement existed for 500 years without a name. The leaders and members of today's AIM never fail to remember all of those who have traveled on before, having given their talent and their lives for the survival of the… Continue

An Indian’s Best Friend

By ICTMN Staff March 29, 2011

New archaeological research reveals members of the Central Valley Indian tribes treated their dogs like close companions and were even buried with their four-legged friends, “curled up side by side,” reported The Sacramento Bee.

Indian dogs were guardians, defending the village from intruders and chasing down food for hunters. According to Paul Langenwalter, a professor of archaeology and anthropology at Biola University in La Mirada, they were also… Continue
