'Ariana's Curse'
The heaped branches were kindled, and the roar of the flames and sizzle of sap drowned out the sound of all else as the rapt gathering backed away from the raging conflagration to form a six-deep circle. They watched eagerly, as first Ariana’s wet clothing steamed and then ignited.

In the end, we only regret chances we didn't take & mistakes we've all made. The relationships we were too scared to have and the decisions we waited too long to make! There comes a time in your life when you realise who matters, who doesn't, who never did and who always will!

An old Cherokee Indian was teaching his grandchildren about life. He said to them, "A battle is raging inside me ... it is a terrible fight between two wolves. One wolf represents fear, anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority and ego. The other stands for joy, peace, love, hope, sharing, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, friendship, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith."
The old man…

Army sergeant "Nick B" surely saw some heart-wrenching horrors during his stint in Afghanistan, but one of them he realized he had to change. When he came across a tied-up dog covered in mud, its ears and tail hacked off, Nick knew he needed to get the pup away from its owners. He traded his cigarettes for the dog, won his trust with beef jerky and worked out a deal with the Puppy Rescue Mission to transport his new pal, Bodhi, through Taliban-controlled areas and…

Can we really be human?
“If you can’t feed a hundred people, then feed just one.” Mother Teresa
Over the weekend in several discussions on how we as humans treat each other primarily oriented around the concept of race I mentioned once or twice how we are all the same species divided by culture and environment.
