If you ever have the chance Take It

Well having a Old Fashioned Christmas was the greatest thing to happen in quite awhile...

No phones were used, no computers were available and our only form of communication was to Talk, Hug and Hold... Games were played with the children, walks and snowball fights were lots of fun and everyone survived not having a electronic device in their hand...

Three days and I will miss them all hearing their voices instead of receiving email updates.

But we all agreed (even the young…

The Weather

The Weather

We live in an ocean of literary devices such as simile, metaphor and allegory to name a few. We accept them because we hunger for reasons, something that satisfies.

We do this in times of personal loss, physical disability, old age, something seems wrong with us and God only knows what. We especially crave answers in times of emotonal chaos where…

The Perfect Woman

A woman who loves herself (and so life itself)

Grateful for ALL that she experiences (and so how life unfolds)

Able to laugh, cry, think and feel easily (and so commune with life fully)

Respects herself as she is (and so the wisdom of events as they be)…

The Force of Many as One

When we speak, feel and do as one (aligned with the heart), The Upstairs Dept works through us more fully.

Alignment

Alignment.  This is a short list of my angels and heroes who not only accepted who I was but who encouraged me to do so.  Their visit may have been a just a moment or a lifetime.  After they did their job, not always seen as positive, they moved on.  Thank you…

Native P.T.S.syndrome

After strong encouragement from The Native Nations leaders, Spiritual help was allowed at Veterans Hospitals, Salt Lake City VA Hospital for one. The V.A. provided space and materials to build a Sweat Lodge for Native American Vets to heal Spiritually the way they have for many generations. Eventually the Lodge had to be enlarged due to strong interest from the Native Vets as well as any other vets who were interested. I was invited to join a friend who did 3 tours in Nam. This was the…

It's becoming alive so we can see, feel and respond to life, knowing that responsibility is the ability to respond (not the same as accepting or placing blame)

One is being awake. The other falling asleep. One is warm the other is…

Alignment

Alignment -- Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing there is a field. I’ll meet out there. Rumi

This is my experience. It feels like we’re being uprooted and yanked from the world we know, feeling abrupt and bewildering at times.

Breathing and being calm seem to help. We'll know later…

My Theory on Life

My Theory on Life. We're in it for the experience. So each has merit --- the good and the bad -- the first class and the cheap. We experience (remember) things we've forgotten, like going on a forgotten journey. We like to do this. We don't have to evolve 'cause we're perfect already (because God made us that way) but we do enjoy being…

September Memories for Many are My December Memories

So many Memories many of us carry in our Hearts. And some like me find the Memories even more important during the Month of December.

Lives lost and some lives lost but still living and suffering, but there are the good memories, and the many prayers especially at this time of year when I know some will travel back in time and feel loss..

Yet I know they will return to me after they traveled the hard road forever seared into their soul. Thinking about my Veterans, those who…

A Place Beyond Thought

Danced even when he had no strength left

Rest In Peace sad words indeed

But he taught me much

He gave his all to those needing that helping hand

A ear to listen

And most of all He gave Hope to many stuck in a tunnel of darkness

Prayers for His Family and His Multitude of Brothers, Sisters and Military Families who Shall Never Forget

God has another Angel Named Jeff Seeber…

Seeing 2016 out with a Tree of Gratitude

This year will end on My Memories of A Lifetime

I will Honor my Parents and their Struggles and instead of a Tree inside I will have a big Fir Limb standing in upright. Honor a Mother who worked on Military Ships, While my Father wore a Uniform.. back in those days she could not afford a tree and ask a gentleman for a limb he had cut off a tree so he could fit it into him home.. telling him she just wanted it for decorating.. Decorations for her limb were the very meager .. but she had…
