Pine Tree Hatching

...well, I know the proper term is SPROUTING but for me, well, finding the seeds from an acorn, then watching them sprout and grow into trees they are so precious more like hatching than a sprouting for me! LOL!

Great job with the pine trees, nowadays the forests are dwindling and can use all the help they can get! And besides it is a good feeling to watch them grow from seeds knowing that you helped them.

These trees are doing beautifully with a lot of new growth.

And just a few days after this...

I will be carefully separating them in a day or so as I get time so the roots do not become too intertwined. Then, as they get bigger I will be planting them near where there are other pine trees where they can grow free. Maybe keep just one for bonsai.
