I Have Overcome

I  have found Peace and Tranquility  here and sadly yesterday

was a day of physical labor outside,  mowing, cutting  and

weeding..and on my little space in this world  you have to be a

capable of climbing banks to get it all done..So yesterday I 

totally missed out on  being right here.. spreading a little love,

some discontent in the group and sharing a few smiles and a

prayer..

Being a Antique as my  great greats call me I should be able to

do what I want to , but nobody to this date has told me how to

keep dandelions from growing 12 inches in height while the

grass  remains dormant in the dry weather we are having. Since I

am of old school teaching I do make dandelion teas,  I  keep

digging them up and wonder why since my neighbors let theirs

reproduce at will.. really need to ask them if they use them for

something other than tea..

Anyway all is done outside, have got all my flags  ready for my

next trip to our Military Cemetary.. All I can say is  getting older

means you are slower, you actually get tired quicker than  when

you were  20 or 30..

After  everything was  done yesterday I was able to look and

know i have done what was needed by me to care for my little

place on this earth, no chemicals, just  food, water, and tender

loving care for my surroundings..

I do hope everyone has a fantastic week end ahead   I know
