AT PEACE

Thats all any of us seek

Wasting precious time searching

Long ago I gave up searching

It is not outside your door

or across some great pond.

There is no friend keeping it to themself

Denying you the secret to possessing peace

Peace resides within each of us

Finding Peace is accepting our Choices

Knowing in our heart of hearts

We chose

With best of intentions

Oh we may learn hard lessons from our choices

But the lessons leave us Stronger

So if we want Peace in our lives

We must learn to live with that which we chose

Be all we can be

And move forward

Peace cannot be bought

It has always been inside you

Only you can allow others to disturb you

To the point you lose your Peaceful feelings

Trust yourself

Trust your feelings

Trust your many choices

Especially those you thought were for good

That maybe did not result in the good

Hoped for

Accept that and move on

Knowing you are only human

Knowing you are not God

And live in Peace with Yourself

Only God and You knew what you sought

He knew the outcome

He did not stop you

That alone should give you a peaceful feeling

A live and learn feeling

Growth

Let no man be your judge

Live in peace within yourself

Nokemes well you are a little younger than I am but I am finding it is only those near or older than us that realize we can change some things in our lives just by accepting we cannot change or control somethings..and can change our inner spirit by accepting we have done our best with what we had..Thank you for visiting and taking he time to respond..
