Getting ready for another visit from another great grand baby..Since I have already had a couple cups of joe, watched my eagles soar high in the sky, and the hummingbirds which get very close and personal but refuse to get their pictures taken.. and of course the early morning walk around the yard with the pooper scooper in hand... Been listening to the weather report which just tells me the sunshine they report for my area is non existent since all I see are grey clouds but what the heck everything is beautiful ..

Love these people who keep their word..and return..now I can take the money to the shelter, if I am lucky I will get it inside and leave before anyone realizes whats being left behind buried under green turf training pads leashes and collars in a quart jar..

I love doing the unexpected be it paying for someones coffee or just leaving flowers for someone who is under the weather..My Grandmother taught us long ago it is not important to be rich and wise but rather compassionate ,kind and help when possible.. hoping my grand babies live my grandmothers teachings...

Comment by Loretta Riddell (Elohi) on July 26, 2016 at 6:55am: Only 2 more days and I can take all the left over stuff and donate it,, didn't use it so I refuse to bring it back inside.. the fun thing about raising this money for our no kill shelter was not keeping track of what was taken in just putting all the money in a quart jar .. and when I deliver it they can count it as just another blessing for our living creatures...

Wish I could have sent you some cooler and wet weather Val but it seems rains dances and garage or yard sales are only working here right now.. no matter which way I pointed mother nature was not listening to me..

I have never seen anything like it... is it a dragonfly or damselfly or something else? I can't find it anywhere on the internet or under Alabama insects. It's unusual with B&W and pink wingtips.
