Well I think I have exhausted every muscle in this old body and all I have left to do is top 2 trees and spread 10 fifty lb bags of bark dust... fenced in my strawberries this year so they are not just treats for my deer, and have my Veggies all planted..plus this year I have flowers on my cactus's that came from Mexico.They have acclimated well . plus my Avocado trees are doing real good outside survived the winter and survived being refrigerated for 2 weeks so hopefully they will be fine in any weather...

It has been very hectic around our place
Lots of work, which is great

The weather is hot, but slightly cooler than the triple digits we had. More humid recently.

But doesn't leave me much time to visit

I do try to make time though

I miss this place and being able to relax over tea and chat

I sure hope you are all doing great

The fires in California are far north of us and there is a fire burning in the border area, but that is far south of us so we are not being affected by it at all just the hazy air.

Our car has over 300,000 miles and still runs fine-Toyota Camry.

We do need to buy a new car though, as this one is having suspension problems. We are trying to figure out the best for us. We hope to find an affordable Toyota truck of some kind. Maybe look into other car types.

Well, that's all the news from me for now...I will stop in again as soon as I can

The heat is on!

I'm not talking about the Miami Heat Basketball either

I be talking about the weather!

It is supposed to get up to 105 today and that is about 8 miles from the ocean

Humid as can be as well right now.

8:43 and already close to 85 degrees.

A city near ours had power outage yesterday. I hope we do not have that here, otherwise our fish tank will suffer, as well as us!

We are so spoiled with the AC.

I hope you all keep in perfect weather.

If you all got some rain, send it our way, we really need it!
