Warm day yesterday (95) and the grand kids and neighbor kids spent all afternoon and evening in the creek that runs through the back yard. Always fun to watch and hear the laughter. More of the same for today it seems, but the up side is.....I don't have to shovel the sunshine!!!! Have a great day all!!

Greetings to Everyone this morning.. in my area I will see a drop in temperatures from 74 yesterday to 65 today... Which is good.. Yesterday I purchased 6 50 lb bags of organic soil and bark tat I must man (wo,am) handle to the back.. since my wheel barrow has met it's maker this may be a slow and painful process .. but I will get it done one way or another..Hopefully my Friend to the north in Wshington is enjoying his Grandchildren

Mornin' All....another warm one up here in the PNW....could use Loretta's cooler temps but will take what we get and make the best of it. Grand kids are having a ball except the mosquitoes are bad right now....they don't bother me but the kids are having a time with it. Middle of the week...enjoy!! And Loretta...yes...please take your time with those heavy bags!!!!!!!!!!

Morning Tsoi, next time you head to a town near you see if you can find a dealer in Avons Skin So Soft Regular... Mix it half and half with water. use it as a repelent.. I use it on myself and my dog 95% effective against those pests, fleas, and ticks and it is earth friendly.. some of my friend say downy fabric softeners sheets work also, but never tried them.. Maybe what I have will move north and give you some relief..

Thank you Loretta.... I have heard that about Avon but was not sure which lotion it was. The lady across the street does Avon so when she gets home this evening I will see if she can get some for the kids. They never have bothered me or if they bite I guess this old blood is not to their liking lol. Will let you know how it all turns out....the kids are having a good time going barefoot, in the water and just feeling the skin of our Earth Mother. Please be careful with those bags of soil also. Today I planted some white sage seeds and will see how they do. Will have to bring it in for winter but that is okay. Thank you again young lady.....have a great day for sure!!

56 outside right now and another predicted 65 for a high.. Got alot done yesterday and more to dotoday and all outsie... Well my friend Tsoi Idid not over do yesterday.. My brain went into overdrive and I found a simpler way to move those big bags,, without buying a wheel barrow,, In fact I may never replae my old one.. I dropped them in my gatbage can with wheels and got them moved one at a time as Ineeded them... Only 2 more to left to move.. and put where I want them... Hopefully I can get that done and the grass mowed again.. I need longer days

That was a great idea on moving the bags! I got lucky when I came home with 6 bags last week ~one of my tenants volunteered to get them out of the car.
Weather here in Montgomery Al. has been in the middle 80's during the day with low 70's at night. Some rain but not like the flooding we had last week. I can finally turn the dirt without it being red clay mud and can get some more green beans started this weekend.

Loving these longer days, up again at 2:30 the absolute peace, and quiet surrounding me.. no words, just coffee brewing, and finally a fresh hot cup, the light slowly appearing, ..Watching 5 deer wandering gracefully through the front yard, checking out the changes made yesterday..So quiet I can hear the Dove who reside n my monkey tree waking up and talking.. It's like God saying all is right in your world today .. realizing even the littlest of blessings count and no matter what happens today or what I will do in my day it has started beautifully and will end with tasks done and a feeling of being blessed..

Turned on the weather it'a 56 outside and they predict a high of 62.. Many of you are experiencing hotter weather and sun, after dealing with flooding and storms .. So I am thankful you have weathered your storms and are able to move on .. Prayers for those who struggle to recover...

Been a great weather day here in Washington....74 this afternoon with some drifting clouds and gentle breeze. Went to the Farmer's market in town today and got some lavender oil for my grand daughter who is getting eaten up by mosquitoes so hope that helps. The dryer sheets seem to help when she is sitting ....lol...which is almost never but she is having a good time. I wish you all a great weekend and hope you take time to see the beauty that surrounds you and know you are a large part of it!!!

A beautiful morning here in Washington..mid 60's and sunny with a gentle breeze. Perfect weather for this old guy to be sure. I hope each of you has a good weekend and Loretta, just so you know...I got the lotion from Avon and it seems to be helping a lot. Also picked up some lavender oil spray at the Farmers Market yesterday so hope between the two the grand daughter will get some relief from the mosquito people. May all of you look in your mirror or a still pond and see the beautiful gift the Great One has given you reflected back to you. More hugs, less war. Love and hate are both 4 letter words. One destroys....one heals. This site is about healing.....Sidanelai....

Partly Cloudy today with a high of 65 ...
Well I have worked 3 continuos days in my yard and today when I got up a 2 AM my body said it's a day of rest, use your mind and leave the rest of your body alone and let it recover.. If I did not know better I would say it's acting it's age instead of thinking it is young and able to do anything..Guess that old adage of You are only as old as you think you are, might not be true when it comes to physical labor..
