First People; Yourba (African - Orisha music); Latin..... Salsa, because it sounds "happy" and the romantic stuff.... sounds nice.
I like country - the old school country, I am on the fence about the country that kinda' crosses over into "pop", I'm not to sure about that yet, although I do like Gretchen Wilson's music a lot, she is such a cool chick.
I like classical - Beethoven is my favorite, he was such a hopeless romantic... I love him;
Etta James, Ray Charles..... that type of music.
I like all most all types music except hard rap, and techno.
What Dreams This Way May Come;

*Dancing, pow-wow and Yourba (African Spiritual) it's been a long time - I probably forgot how to do this.
*I draw, paint (oil, water color). Just started a sketch of my late father, planning on turning it into an oil painting, eventually.
*Reading, especially books about First People, our history.
*I love to camp, there is nothing like being in the woods with the stars shining bright above you.
* Love to fish, always chasing that big bass fish... who outsmarts me all the time.
many - will change on a weekly basis.
Boozho niiji, biindigen! (Greetings my friend, come in!).
I am an enrolled member of White Earth Reservation, now living in South Florida.
I am married to a wonderful man who is originally from Puerto Rico. He joined the Army when he was 16 years old and retired after 22 years of service. We were married in April 2009. I have no human children, but I do have 3 cats who are like my children.
There is always magic to be summoned at any point. I love to live in the world of magic, but not the fake world of magic. We all have a lot of magic....it's only those of us that choose to accept it, that really understand it. It's there for everyone.
That's the only thing that I feel that I am able to give to people and that's why I know that they respond to me because I try to help them realize they have their own magic...not mine, but theirs.
I am happy and honored to be here - thank you for your kindness and warmth.
