Walking In Shoes of Another

Walking in another mans shoes

Was never ment to be

Many times I see others changing

All their hopes  dreams and goals

Allowing others to influence them

Trying to be what they are not ment to be

Our spirits that  feed our heart and souls

Sometimes bleed inside  when we listen

To others instead of them.

Our Creator  never created carbon copies of anything

Everyone and everything  is uniqic

Everyone has their own path

Their own lessons to learn

Their own life to live

Oh  many will enter our world

Some will stay and some will go

Just as intended

Some will teach and others  we will share with

We  should live with acceptance

Knowing even if the person is on the wrong track

They have a lesson to learn

We may have been gifted through our own trials

With knowedge that will help them

But we cannot change what they must face

We cannot judge them by their

Have's or have not's in their life

Walking our own path is a must

Being true to one's self

Never to  control another

But to  lead by example could be your greatest misson

Accepting the fact many things in life we cannot change

Yet those things  we can we will

With the desire and knowledge it is in our best interests.

In the best interests of ourselves

and those we love and care for

If we insist on walking in another mans shoes

We will miss everything intend just for us

And guilty  of robbing them

Of all they  were ment to see, learn and achieve

We all have been gifted with the Ability to share

With  Caring, Compassion

But not walking  their path for them

We can be that helping hand

Lifting them up and  encouraging them

To  move forward

To achieve all their hopes, dreams and successes

While we move forward on our own path

Seeing and learning all that is ment to be

In our own lives..

I am so glad to hear you feel as I do, and see it as true.. I try to get my great and great grandchildren to understand doing or having everything others have or do is not important, but what they do and what they earn through their own efforts is whats important..that they will make mistakes in their lives but they will learn from them....thank you for your time and your kind words Nokemes ..
