My Father & Grandmother

They returned to NC
So he could embrace everything taught by his Ancestors..

He served in our Military, was a Police Officer
and a Sheriff..
He lived a life that was dedicated to protecting others...
Yet he struggled to find Peace for himself
Trust in his own actions and deeds

Many times we must seek that which was the way of
Our Ancestors to understand that which tears us down , in order to regain our Strength and Courage to follow our Inner Feelings

After he returned he was able to accept the fact he was Human, he would make mistakes,
but he made them for all the right reasons
He never profited , or recieved accolades.

Many times I seen him give to others and deny himself..Those seemed to be his happiest times, knowing he would survive without while others survived because they had

The lesson I learned is survival is not dependent on what I have but what I can live without that other need..
