Osiyo All,
I don't know how many of you use sweetgrass in ceremony of your own but I know it is often difficult to find without having to 'buy' it. Selling sweetgrass and sage is something I do not approve of as it is sacred and a gift from our Earth Mother. I have sweetgrass on my property and nurture it in a good way...no chemicals at all and if any of you are in need I will gladly send you braids...all I ask is that you do not re-sell it...only for personal use and whatever the mail cost is...just pay that or donate that amount to this site. I will be cutting the grass this week and can send it to you green or dried. I hope you don't feel the need to buy sacred things...what is given us as a gift, in my view, should be given... not sold. Just an offer...have an Osda day!!!

Hi! the only way I can get sweetgrass is to buy it, as I am in the UK if you wouldnt mind sending me some I will happily pay the postage.
I have a tiny bit left and will be out soon as I have been quite sick and will be going for another operation soon so have been sending smoke regularly,

if you would be prepared to send it here I will give you my address,

May Wakantanka encircle you and yours with strength to believe, hope for the future and love for all!!!!,

Osiyo Ladyhawk....glad to be able to do this....don't really like seeing people having to pay money for what Spirit has made available to me and the sweetgrass and white sage are always picked as I was taught many years ago. I have read articles about people who sell white sage and how they pay others to get it at night so often and normally by yanking the whole plant rather than being picked in an honorable way...and as with the sweetgrass....ceremony is done and the grass is talked to and honored before it is touched. You have set forth a stream of coolness on a warm day with this site..one that brings nourishment to the seeking ones to be a part of and I am grateful there is no dissention here. I was told as a young child that being Indian is not as important as having the spirit of the old ones of Native ways. I am a mixed blood..but raised in the ways of theTsalagi People and to be able to provide others what Creator has given us to create peace with our smoke and offering is a great honor. Equa Wado....I am but a messenger and am happy with that...it is a good path ...Aisv Nv Wadohiyado....Equa Wado for this site you work so hard at...it DOES make a positive difference...hugs back...

Thank you Tsoi Tawodi for this generous offer. I sent this blog out to all of the members here in hopes they pass this on to any friends that may be interested.
Hugs,

My family and I understand the use sweet grass and sage in ceremonies and have used them ourselves. When we are able to make the powwow circuit we usually trade with someone so they will receive something they need in exchange for what we need. Otherwise it finding sacred herbs around here is selective thus leaving us no choice but to purchase from some sort of vendor. At time I wish we had everything to be able to grow all the herbs Creator intended for us to use. Peace and Blessings, Spiritwalker.
