How do we love others? The way we respect, listen to, show our admiration and desires to others. We put so much emotional feelings and physical essence into showing the ones we love. What about yourself? Have you shown yourself that "You love You"? To some of us, that is a rather new concept. What exactly is Self-love? Self-love has many attributes that are blended together: Self-acceptance (the ability to accept yourself); Self-awareness (the ability to recognize who you are); as well as showing Self-respect (the ability to respect yourself). You need to realize that you are worthy of love and respect for yourself. Look in the mirror and say, " Hi, I'm (your name) and I love you". Do this everyday until you believe it! Take care of yourself by being compassionate and patient with yourself and nurture yourself. Whenever you get stressed out- take a 10 minute break..go somewhere quiet and dark. Close your eyes and imagine yourself in a peaceful place. Can you feel, see and smell the peacefulness? Good! Now smile and tackle that mountain of stress with that image and sensations of that wonderful peaceful place inside yourself!
