Ron, My Brother, Vietnam Veteran A True Story

My Brother Ron and several from Austrialia, met, served in Vietnam together building bonds and creating music.. Little Brother was not Welcomed Home he and many others were greeted with objects throw, cruel and hateful words and threats..

He and his Aussie Brothers all felt their Brothers in Arms were wronged and they should have been Welcomed Home and Thanked for answering the call of our Countries Leaders.. So they wrote and published a Song named Welcome Home and Thank You.. He and many others have reached out for Many Years trying to heal the pain of their Returning Brothers and Sisters of the Vietnam War, But also continued reaching out to those Returning from Afghanistan and Iraq.. What some do not know is Ron and other Veterans have also reached out to those Deploying into Harms Way....

And today I want to share one of his stories about aYung Soldier soon to be placed in Harms Way..
Ron never said if the young Soldier returned safely Home..But only Ron knows now because after many life threatening battles he has departed this world and waits for us elsewhere.. Someday I will know the Answer Did This Young Soldier Make it Home..??

I believe in your heart you understand the why's of your Brothers choices.. Austraila Gave Them the Respect they Deserved... Many loved their Families but the world outside their Family was crushing them As Family all we can do is Love them, try to understand, and let the hurt inside go..

My brother came back from Nam and thru his purple heart on the White House lawn during the Vets march there.
Married a Canadian girl shortly after and they moved to Australia never to return...
I guess I never really forgave him for that but I do understand the why.
