My Flag

Some have been really upset with those who refuse to stand and pledge their alliance to the
Flag.. And yes I am one of those because I know the Sacrifices made to keep the Flag flying
Hence I started writing what I felt..

My Flag

I will always stand and Salute it.

With the Pledge I pledge my Allegiance to it and my Country

So many have chosen not to honor everything my flag stands for

And all the Flag represents

So many lives sacrificed for this Flag and what it represents

Yet many today refuse to Honor the Flag or the Pledge

Even thou they are here for all the benefits given to them in this great Country

Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness

They disrespect the Flag, burn the Flag, and Stomp or desecrate it at every opportunity

Our Soldiers and Veterans have sacrificed so much to keep the Flag flying

Guarantying everyone the right to demand equality with all men

Instead of being grateful for the sacrifices made in their behalf

And embracing the Flag that gives and guarantees them the right

To life, liberty and Freedom to pursue their happiness and

Taking the rights given them to make changes

Just as Martin Luther King did

sure wish things would change soon...
