Loving My Simple Life

The above picture is the Main Street named Exchange in my tiny town, only about 6 blocks long.. Marine one block over is the street that gets everyone through our town to the bridges that either head farther down the coast or take the 4+mile long bridge to Washington...

No big fancy malls here, more churches than taverns and most of the shops close and the sidewalks are rolled up at 6 pm..

I truly feel blessed.. most of us struggle to make ends meet.. yet we manage to make the best of everything... in fact one Family started a new way to reach out and touch others..

We now paint rocks and post the areas they are hidden in..and many have posted pictures of the happy children that found a rock... and now people from other states are painting a rock and leaving it and taking ours to their state.. Such simple games that bring Families together in such a simple way leaves me feeling these Families will have beautiful memories, of this hide and seek, and the ones who were and are alone with have the memory of how their painted rocks brought Smiles to the Faces of many small Children and their Families...

Life is so simple and I am so thankful to know I can shop right here in my tiny town. Enjoying all the beauty around me and enjoy the simple things in life
