Well this Month is Military Families Month,

Veterans Day on the 11th

and Thanksgiving..

In my world all three are important..

Thanksgiving is also a everyday event

because without the Military

I would not be able to say what I think

or do any of the things I do every day..

The day a young man or woman puts on a Uniform

and takes their Oath

their lives are changed forever..

It also changes the lives of their Families..

Many gave their lives.

others suffered devastating life altering wounds,

and none escaped life altering inner wounds

that they would carry their whole life time...

Sure they now have many abbreviated words

to describe what our Soldiers and Veterans live and deal with

on a daily basis..

Some Families coped and struggled

and remained together,

others were torn apart,

and to this day

too many of our Veterans and Serving

are taking their own lives

and some actually take their loved ones out with them..

I have no answers

but I do know more needs to be done to help them..

I do a Buddy Check on many of my Veterans

and the rest I put in Gods Hands

because I am only one Person..

But this is a good Month

for everyone to do a Buddy Check

on a Military Family,

a Veteran or a Serving Man or Woman..

That call could be a life saver.

It could be that your caring call

could change someones life..

Should a, Could a, Would a but....

is not the answer to helping someone..

They all deserve to know somebody cares
