Thank you GrayWolfsky...my Dad was Navy for almost 30 years. The Military life can be rough at times but it's a job worth doing.
My son got his assignment last week and you might say I'm not very happy about it...and I've shed a few tears about it. He leaves April 10th for boot and then right after he leaves for training for Air Force Aerial Gunner. The recruiter is saying that it is extremely rare they put a new recruit in with "covering" Special Forces but after an interview with 2 Officers last week ....he's going. Guess he'll be on the helicopter that drops and picks up the PJ's special forces. You never really think about the Air Force being on the front lines.

Gianfranco and Monique were married today at the Veterans Hall in Fremont. It was a great way to spend the day photographing their wedding!

Today I had a photoshoot doing engagement pictures for Monique and Gianfranco. She has been in the Air Force for 1 year and he just finished boot camp for the Marines last week. They are getting married this Veterans Day at the Veterans Memorial Hall in Fremont. It's going to be a nice wedding with the Air Force Color Guards!

Veterans Day

On Veterans Day we honor all,
Who answered to a service call.
Soldiers young, and soldiers old,
Fought for freedom, brave and bold.
Some have lived, while others died,
And all of them deserve our pride.
We’re proud of all the soldiers who,
Kept thinking of red, white and blue.
They fought for us and all our rights,
They fought through many days and nights.
And though we may not know each name,
We thank ALL veterans just the same.
