Comment by LadyHawkღ on March 18, 2011 at 7:57am: My family never celebrated St. Patrick's Day except for the corned beef and cabbage (cause my Dad just liked it!) I did some reading yesterday and was surprised about the history...Same story as Christanity being given to the Native Americans except the holiday there is St. Patrick bringing it to the Pagans and Druids. Sooo if you are Pagan, Druid or Old Celt you don't want anything to do with this holiday!
And, I think blue is a much better color!

Just kidding I knew it was St. Patrick's Day but I chose my favorite color, a teal colored t-shirt. Comfy, fav color, and well...green on me looks BAAAAD.
I did wear a button on my shirt with green on it though.

Here's another tidbit" St. Patrick's Day is celebrated in North America but is hardly acknowleged in the U.K.
