Val it sounds like your garden is doing better than mine. I might lose some of my tomato plants from all of the rain here the last week. I hope they perk up when they dry out some.
I tried to go to the zoo today to get some pics to finish my book. I got there and found out it was Military appreciation day and there wasn't any parking. I'll try again tomorrow and hopefully I can get what I need before the rain starts again. It's only supposed to be around 96 degrees so this might be my last cool day to go this summer.

Our one pepper is not doing so well, but the other, a Habanero pepper, is doing beautiful!

We have a variety of herbs doing very well, as is the lettuce I planted.

I will have to keep everything watered as we have a heat wave coming, supposed to be in the 90's maybe even 100...YUCK!

I really am not looking forward to the heat.

Loretta, I wish I had a yard, but all our growing is on a little patio so all in containers.

One day, we hope to buy a place of our own, with a nice big yard!

So good to hear about your eyes.

Those who asked about my eye surgery well I had my last appointment
And after 50+ years I no longer need eye glasses, I just need to get used
To seeing true white.. I wear sunglasses to help me deal with the
Brilliance of stark whites but it is getting better...

The weather has been warm and things are growing leaps and bounds
Around here.. And after giving my weed whacker last rites I went and
Bought another on so I can play Billy goat and get my banks trimmed..
