But I do miss the freedom it gives (it sucks not being able to just hop in the car and drive to the store to quickly pick something up) Now I have to rely on volunteers to take me grocery shopping, have to schedule it in advance, and do it when they can fit me in.

Comment by Loretta Tomshack on December 4, 2011 at 4:22am: I just replaced the two front tires on my van to the tune of two weeks worth of groceries. Thank heavens one of the local grocery stores is having a 10 for $10 sale so I can get in on that today. It seems that cars always seem to break down or need new tires just before the holidays or when it so cold outside that even the birds are wearing long underwear. Val, you're right, it's hard to live with them and even harder to live with out them.

Comment by Val on December 4, 2011 at 3:48am: We just had unexpected car repair and just after getting enough to pay rent and bills...cars, can't live with them and yet so very hard to live without! Like some people, yes? LOL Joke but we got a last minute repair job in that paid for it. Now we are gettign caught up and hopefully will get ahead and stay ahead of them bills for now on!

My hubby got a sinus infection a few days ago but seems not too bad and seems clearing up. Just made him more grumpy really when he got a headache from it. Maybe more like bad allergies I think.

Well, I should have a few days of R and R soon so I can spend more time here with you all in the next week or so. In the meantime the fire has some fresh logs next to it so just add to it if there needs and fresh treats in the cooler. Blessings everyone for love, joy, and good health too...and may our car repairs if need be easy repairs and if not we can get them taken care of.
