These are the ones needing comfort whereas your husband is in his new spirit home. I was raised, and do understand to this day, that our journey here is temporary and that as we leave here we go back to our spirit lodge.... that each day here is one of learning, growing, and being all that we can be (no...not the Army commercial...lol).
As a combat vet, I thank you for doing what you do for our vets... you are the sunrise to many, the morning flower to start a new day and perhaps the last day for some, but the beauty of spirit and honor is with you and they see this. Your husband is proud of all you do for us old and young warriors. I hope to meet him when I get on the other side. Remember your mirror dear sister...the great gift of the Divine One is reflected to you there when you look into it.
