Thank you for posting this Christina. I moved from the Bay Area last year and all of those cities were right by me. One of the biggest cover ups I saw was at Sun Microsystems in my own city. I know alot of people got paid off to stay quiet about a new found shell mound where they wanted to put a new building in. Funny how fast that 10 foot dark green fence went up and 2 days later a building was up and completed and then it was announced that one of the construction workers had found bones there.
I also spent a few days at the Sogorea Te (Glen Cove) site in Vallejo Ca. taking supplies and food to the many tribes that were there to protect the shell mounds. As usual...the city took more land for a park than what was actually agreed upon. Here is the link for the Glen Cove battle~
