Years and Wisdom
Years pass so quickly
Wisdom though is gained slowly
Many times painfully
With loss, trials, and suffering that wounds ones heart
Wounds that will never fade but Spirits can heal
Healing to the point one can carry on
Finding their path in life
Many making do with that which the Greatest of Spirits
Guides them through and too
Yet through the neglect caused by greedy mankind
They have passed on due to illnesses and neglect
Today they walk with the Spirits as Spirits
Guiding us who are willing to listen
Trust the Spirits within your being
That connects you to the earth, and heavens
And all that surrounds you
Written as I listened with my heart to those long gone
A Cherokee Grandmother
A Blackfoot Grandmother
A Grandmother of Christian Faith
A Warrior who picked me up when I was weak
Yet when He was weak from Cancer and Neglected
He only ask I pray for him
And the cry of the wee baby who died from alcohol poisoning
Her death at 3 weeks of age was the only reason
Her parents sought help and reconnected with the Old Tribal Traditions
Empty heart empty arms
Wisdom regained painfully
