This saddens my heart more everyday. I live in Los Angeles county and I can vouch that California remains and toggles back and forth in the top three states in unemployment and welfare today due to gross mismanagement. California used to be one of the wealthiest states in the nation, but it has steadily declined since the end of the Reagan administration. Everyday I read and hear in the media about more California politicians, CEO's, and board members from the state capitol to local cities who are being sentenced to prison for fraud and embezzlement of state and local government funds, just for starters. The citizens have fought back and continue to fight back, but there is a feeling of helplessness on a runaway train headed for the biggest train wreck in history. All we can do is continue to fight, and it will be a fight to the death.
