Its a beautiful morning here in Ontario..good morning to everyone..juss enjoying my cup of morning tea..been feeling lost past 24 hours..my stepson just told me yesterday that hes going to enlist in the US army from here..he already has his papers in and now is waiting on what to do next..although hes not my own flesh and blood I still think of him as my son..its going to be so hard thinking about him out there in combat once he does go..but I know its what he wants in life. I will be praying so hard for the next decade or so..praying to the Creator for strength for myself as well for my stepson..anyhoo hope everyone had a wonderful weekend..I did with my grand daughters..have an awesome day =)

No, life is never easy. But, perhaps, our struggles make us stronger...(?)
I will keep your stepson in my prayers, as well as you and the rest of the family.
Good morning to you too..my morning has been wonderful..thanks for asking. I honestly dont know what I'll do with myself once he does leave for combat..he hasnt said exactly what it is he plans to do once he gets there but he did tell me that he would be able to continue his education as well. My late husband & I seperated long before he passed away and had my stepson..my kids & I finally got to meet him when he turned 12 yrs of age..and its been a blessing having him in our lives..hes grown so much. Hes a musician and so I was hoping he'd stick with that as well *L*..I was wrong too *L*..Im thinking its going to be extremely hard once he leaves..but I was never told life was going to be easy.
Good Morning to you! I had my tea this morning driving home from work and got to watch a beautiful sunrise. It made me forget for a few minutes about my son going into the Air Force. My son turned 18 a few months ago and enlisted in the Air Force...something he's been talking about since about 8 th grade. I figured he would get a nice computer job sitting behind a desk somewhere here Stateside. Boy was I wrong...A few weeks ago he was called into the recruiters office for an interview. He leaves April 10th for boot camp and school. His commission is aerial gunner. Front lines picking up and dropping off special forces. My worst nightmare come true...
LOL, sooooo how is your day going???!
Hugs,
LadyHawk
