The Budwiser Commercial...

I received an e-mail early this morning asking why I would put a Budwiser Commercial on the homepage in the event of the 9/11 tragedy...

First of all I do take into consideration that we cannot please everyone with what is posted on the homepage. You will find most of the videos and posts are rather generic as to not offend anyone and their beliefs. If you take a look around we have Christian, Atheist, Pagan, Wiccan, Democrat, Republican, Liberal and many of those in between.

I will tell you I viewed over 20 videos before I settled on this one. I do not view it as a "commercial" and I believe they are not promoting their product. It was aired one time and they did not profit from it. It was simply a tribute in the highest honor to the victims and heros of the 9/11 tragedy. Sometimes the words and speeches just don't reach the heart and I believe this tribute does that without the utterance of a single word. 

As a side note I do not drink nor am I endorsing this company in any way. I am a strong supporter of M.A.D.D. because...

On October 6, 2000 my adopted son was killed by a drunk driver. My 19 year old son was driving home late from college and was hit by a drunk truck driver. The driver killed him...not Budwiser and I think he would support having this video on the homepage.
