So many tear drops have fallen
During so many losses
Grandparents, Parents
Who all lived long and good lives
Losses we were prepared to face
A sadness we knew would come
We cried when we said farewell
To those who taught us so much
About life, living, and what's really important
Yet there are tears shed
That leave many of us wondering why
Like the younger sister losing her fight with Cancer
Or the Sons lost before they ever saw
the sunrise or a sunset
Or a Son who fought a good fight
But at 17 left us behind with
Memories of all his dreams never fulfilled
That BlackHawk crash that took so many
On a distant mountain top
Who left us behind remembering their words
Don't worry we will be fine
Life is such a mystery
We never know when it will bring us to our knees
We never know what is ahead of us
But many of us have learned
Life moves on and so must we
We must cherish that which is still with us
Live and love as if it were our last day
Or maybe the last day of those we love
No should , would or could have
Should we live any day with
We should always cherish and care for
What makes our world bright
Those who make life special
Because if lthey are taken from us
We must move on and live our life
