In opening remarks, which received a standing ovation, Mr Obama said: "You will not be forgotten as long as I'm in this White House."...Am wondering what is going to happen when he is out of the white house.

Well, I did read thru the whole report and still did not see anything in there concerning Native Americans, land rights, white man go home or we were here first. The issue at hand is about the video posted and the generations of misdeeds that brought the man to such fury. What he is saying really has nothing to do with the present government but what has been put upon us from the past.

We can only hope he will stand by his vow, so many of his campaign promise's were not kept. It's hard to believe anything he says as long as he speaks with a forked tongue.

I have watched the video a couple of times and I think it should make me happy...yea, he's tellin' em how it is. But seriously it makes me really sad to watch this kind of public display.

Obama pledge to Native Americans

President Obama at the conference
President Obama fulfilled his campaign pledge regarding Native Americans

US President Barack Obama has vowed not to forget American Indian tribes, as representatives gathered for a White House conference on native issues.

The first annual White House Tribal Nations Conference brings together one delegate from each of the 564 federally recognised American Indian tribes.

It is the first time in US history that they will all meet a sitting president.

The event is part of Mr Obama's efforts to build bridges with American Indian and Alaska Native communities.

In opening remarks, which received a standing ovation, Mr Obama said: "You will not be forgotten as long as I'm in this White House."

NOW with that being said~ Back to the topic. It is not just the present "regime" but goes back to the beginning of all roots of government. There has always been some good and some bad. It's been a long time coming but the Native voice is finally being heard. Very slow in coming but there has been much progress in recent years. Whether Obama is listening because he wants to or is just trying to gain brownie points it doesn't matter to me...The government is starting to listen to the people and that is what really matters.

The present "regime" is the root of this problem, they ignore our constitution and do as they please. When peaceful means are exhausted and the ballot box doesn't work anymore then it's time they be uprooted by force if necessary.

Obama Disarmed Marines During Inauguration

“Apparently Obama’s Secret Service doesn’t trust the USMC.

David Codrea reported on February 9 that a United States Marine Corps source forwarded an email to the Gun Examiner stating that soldiers marching up Pennsylvania Avenue in Obama’s inaugural parade had the bolts removed from their rifles.
