How babies make sunshine

We're always connected to Source-God-universe but sometimes we get that crappy feeling like what a caterpillar might feel right before becoming a butterfly ...

Because on the dimension of personality there's "stuff" blocking the pathway to who we really are. Thus we feel separated, out of sorts and maybe a little depressed from time to time.

So how do we clear the blocking? Anything we focus on will take us to back to that plane that's blocking. So we need to focus on something else. The only thing left is "nothing" or the SPACE that comes before things.

We could take a lesson from the newborn. They ARE experiencing stuff around the clock. But what's different is that they're only WATCHING. Maybe we could do the same -- just watch the movie.

Counting my blessings

My first love was being by myself -- there was no one else around except the sweet old ladies who had lost their husbands at sea. They would share with me their religious medals.

My family.-- my sister, mother, father. They were just right for me. Though I did have my doubts from time to time, especially that switch my dad hung over in the hallway.

There are my cousins. Not always smooth. Like when Larry was chasing me at Granny's house and I closed the front door on his hand. Oh that must have hurt!

And there was Jim my best friend in grammar school in Sacramento. We used to collect centipedes. He taught me how to play baseball & basketball because I didn't know how.

Having loving compassion for our aspects

Tent by Joanna Walsh

So often we reject parts of ourselves, parts of our consciousness because they hurt. Because it's a way to stop the hurt, stop the pain we feel.

And so we perform a lobotomy of our soul, leaving an empty shell of the human being we once were. OR we can kiss the boo boo and love the perfect who we are.

Healing ourselves and the group

Sometimes people -- usually close to us -- can get on the other's nerves because we probably share the same energy blocks. The good news is that when we heal ourselves, we help heal the group because we're all connected.

Help from future self

How do I resolve the emotional problem I face? Why ask my future self, hopefully older and wiser! He says practice love and compassion in as many ways you can think of. This habit will aid in the solution of the problem you face now and others too.

Loving ourselves using our buttons

Buttons heal the soul. We nurture and hold them close to survive, sometimes they're a band-aid for a hurt long forgotten. Waking up these buttons with loving care is a way of becoming whole again.

We can love ourselves by being there for ourselves, not only in the present but also in the past and future.  Just being there is enough.  https://vimeo.com/254236544

Advice from Tree

Path beyond mountain and valley

This is no journey in the ordinary sense of the word where at the end we become complete -- king, magician, princess -- rather we're dropping into stillness, not going anywhere really but it may seem like it.

It is similar to The Path, a video game, where there are no rules or a fixed story-line from which we find a good strategy for winning. Similar to life, there is NO winning or losing in this game!
