El Sol Hostel de Recoleta of Buenos Aires

I’m staying at El Sol Hostel de Recoleta of Buenos Aires for the next couple of days.  It’s a youth hostel. People from all parts of the world come through here.  One is from near Munich, another from British Guiana, France, Japan, Peru, Russia, Paraguay, Columbia, one a few blocks from where I live.  Last night I enjoyed talking with a young Irish woman soon to return home after having  traveled through many countries of the Americas.  This morning I had a short conversation with a man who had nothing.  Everything he owned, including shoes were stolen.  The hostel is a sanctuary where new friends can be made.  Today it did not rain. No one seems to like the rain. Maybe it's the Italian in them.
