Time to find the Inner Child

So many  ask when the rain will end

While i see what the rain is bringing forth

All the new leaves starting  to unfold

The daleiha's start to peek  out from under the soil

The daffodils gave me so  much to smile about

The tulips are getting ready to show off their own special colors

And the inner child is impatient

She wants to start her straw bale garden

While getting her hands dirty in the soil

Planting something new in her gardens

Spring  makes her feel young again

The love of the smell of fresh mowed  grass

The joys of watching the birds and bees  busy

The birds caring for the new off spring

The bees pollinating  that which gets planted

Yes it's that time

Time for the inner child to come out

Sharing with the young children around me

The joys that  can be seen and felt

As new life appears all around me
