Life as we live is a blessing, i truly appreciate mine and it always starts with anticipation.

The early mornings  so peaceful enjoying all that surrounds me yet i know i have no

control over what my walked path  today or any day who or what i will meet.

Today was one of those days..

Keeping my kids (dogs) safe from  parvo  and other illnesses i took them in for their shots.

Now if you go in and take your chances to get in quickly all you pay for is the shots, if you

make a appointment  you have to add another 20 dollars ..So i go in no appointment and we

ended up spending over  2 1\2 hours there.. Yet again i learned how precious life is, we met a

man and his 3 legged son Roger(dog) who came in  also for shots and a checkup after he had

been hit by a car.. losing the leg.. but  Roger has overcome his loss and  is a very loving and

active 6 year old, but as his dad talked about his accident you could  see the pain in his eyes

but hear the thankfullness in his voice to still  have Roger..

My kids were on their good behavior and never barked at a single cat, and for the 1st time

they did not cower in fear of  the other dogs.. so  progress is being made.. Or maybe there is a

silent language  animals  communicate.. Not only were my  babies rescues, but many of the

other cats and dogs  there were also rescues..

When you sit in a Vet office you meet many  different people and their kids, some affected

many of us deeply, because they came in with a part of their family and  left  alone or with

their baby wrapped up in a blanket and tears running down their  cheeks..Many of us knew

they were there because of  problems their babies were having and thankfully we were able

to offer kind words before they had to chose the path their lovely furry child would take.

i have been in their shoes many times so i know the pain they  are feeling and will feel for

some time to come...

So i appreciate life everyday and every life that is placed in my care i  protect so they too can

appreciate the life they are living..

Acts of kindness can be the little things, like listening to a stranger talk about an accident or life event.
