Yes December is welcomed with open arms.

Many of us have a faith as a reason for open arms.

Yet there are many who are struggling  to just survive December.

Many are remembering wars fought and Brothers Lost.

Others  dealing with lost Loved Ones  no longer here.

Many are living with medical issues.

Others  are homeless  with and without jobs not knowing where to turn.

December is one of the worst months for struggling Families.

For those dealing with depressions.

I have seen over the years how  some will break laws.

Or the last straw being broken ending in family violence.

All due to  the pressures of trying to do what others take for granted

Making Christmas special..

It's hard to put into words the pressures  some have to deal with.

Especially when they are down and there is no hand offering help.

December you are welcome knowing you are only here for 31 days.

Days I can deal with because it's a  birth we celebrate

The birth of one who reached out with compassion and caring

One who lifted up instead of ignoring  the down and struggling.

So my only  prayer is I am able to do the same  this December

With compassion. caring and a helping hand when needed.
