Some good sites for tips and tricks in photography.
A great "free" program for editing that I highly recommend. It has alot of options and I find it much easier to use than photoshop. One of the best downloads I have ever come across for simple to more advanced editing. With this program it's easy to put pics side by side and do simple layering and it has a great text editor. http://www.photoscape.org/ps/main/index.php

Hi Gloster Gal,
I'm glad you asked that question because I think many here may not know you can resize your images right in the comment box before you post them. This has always been one of the features I love most about the NING sites.
To add an image that is in your computer picture folder:
Click on the camera icon on the header-and you will see...
Add an image:
click on Add an image
Browse to select your image from your files -open
Then go to -->Options:
Align
left -(I usually leave it on align left)
center
right
check Resize image
-by default you will see the actual size of your picture in the box -this is where you change the size of the image. I usually change this to 450. I recommend 400 to 500 pixels.
-click add and you will see the HTML code in the comment box with your new size near the end.
-You can click on HTML again and you will see the actual picture you are posting.
-Add any text or description of the image and click add reply-
Hope this helps...
Connie
