Blossom of a Eucalyptus. They begin as a seed-looking pod that looks like a jar with a lid on them, like in this other photo:

Marsh Flowers that I do not know what they are called. No scent but sure are beautiful,


Just another pretty yellow flower that grows along the trails of the Penasquitos Canyon that I have not been able to find the name of.
It looks like late afternoon sun. I love the background to.


Prickly and very pretty yellow flower, also grows along the canyon trails that I do not know name of.
Scientific name - Cynara cardunculus
Common name - artichoke thistle, cardoon, desert artichoke, wild artichoke
