In this clip, a leatherback turtle hatchling heads towards the sea on a beach. The leatherback is the largest sea turtle, reaching more than two metres in length and weighing up to 700 kilograms.
The leatherback is found in seas worldwide and can tolerate much colder waters than other turtles. It has been known to undertake vast journeys across the oceans.
