About Me:: I am a very active woman who will soon be 80 years young. I look upon age as a number and I look back on my life and have no regrets apart from not being able to travel overseas now due to the hassle of airports, etc. I love reading and do so every night when I go to bed. During the day my time is taken up with making notes for my book I am determined to finish this year and also I spend time talking to my friends in far-away places on the internet and by e-mail. I love life and my two youngest grandsons take up quite a large part of it. My youngest son and his wife live close by so we are never too far away. My oldest grandchildren are scattered around the United States and this is another of my regrets that I can't be with them more.

I left facebook because I had several hundred friends but it seems everyone is into the games and apps. I got tired of being flooded with game requests. facebook says you can block them but that option did not seem to work for me. I signed up for several other sites but I like this one the best. I like the cozy cabin group here!

I am moving from California to Alabama in a few months so I have been getting an early start on the packing. Have a great day Gloster Gal! I think things are finally starting to slow down some around the house...the last 3 weeks have been crazy with my son's high school prom and graduation. He also took his driver's test and passed that so now he's driving. LOL, my last one! We already talked to the Air Force recruiter so it looks like he will be going into the military in a few months. After he turns 18 in August he will help me move to Alabama and then go in.
