My Dear Family here on Warrior Nation;
I had to share what is in my heart, and to give great thanks to The Great Mystery for leading me here..I have come full circle, from my notion that I had no Idea who or what I was, having been adopted at 18 months old to a white couple that had no Idea about raising children, My Father was an Alcholic and my Mother a Perscription durg addict....they were both very abusive to not only me but to eachother.. but here I am a bit older, but maybe a little more wise... I never knew my Birthfamily until about 8 years ago, and finally found them all, that were still in the vale of exsistance, both My Birth Mother and Father were gone, but my two birth Siblings and my Half Sister were still here, as was my Fathers Mother She was 94 years old when I finally met her.. she waited all this time for my Brother and Sister to be reunited...within six months of that time, she went to sleep and never woke up.. She told me all of the details and the rumor that I died at birth..not a long strech of the imagination, when you consider at two and a half months premature, back in the very early 50's there was I hight mortality rate...so I guess Right from the start The Great Spirit had plans...I always felt connected to our people, I just didn't much then but something and someone was missing from my life.
Now that I have been given the oppertunity to find my Blackfoot and Crow roots, and over the years be given a chance to experience many Sweat Lodgers, Cerimonies (sp) and been brought to places no Whiteman could go, to acient sites and burial mounds all over New England..and more I hope..I feel that when I was worried, or not in good health, or sad, you were all there..you where there to lift me up and spiritually hold me and be a huge part of my life,, I just wanted to share how important you are all to me..May The Great Mystery be with each and every one of you and Bless you as you Have Blessed me...It is with the Deepest Love, Light and Utmost Respect I am and will always be GWB

LOVE YOUR BLOG GRANDFATHER AND THE PICS ARE SO BEAUTIFUL. LOVE YOU NEW HEAD DRESS. I WOULD LIKE TO FIND SOMEONE TO MAKE ME A CHOKER THAT IS THE SIZE OF MY NECK THAT FITS. AND THE NECK SIZE IS 13 3/8 INCHES. IF YOU KNOW OF ANYONE COULD YOU LET ME KNOW. BLESSINGS

As you can see, in this view of my warbonnet the hand painted "Legal" Eagle feathers have  an excellent look, unless you were an expert ion the field Raptor study, you would never know these weren't really..I hightly suggest that unless you know in your heart of hearts that the Great Spirit has gifted you with an actual Raptor feather ..be careful and use these kind..they are so realistic, they have some great ones in the Crazy Crow catolog or Wondering Bull, and many other expert catalogs..that speclize in hand painted Eagle feathers and other birds as well..hawks, owls  and lots more...if anyone would like information on these and other Period Correct regalia pecies just let me know..there is a wonder Artist at  Buffalo Heart Studio Many Blessings GWB

When in doubt..use legal eagle feathers..artistic reproductions..the ones in my Eagle Headdress were painted by hand and unless you were a raptor expert you would never know they weren't real...I am going to post a (pardon the pun) a Birds eye View of my warbonnet..
