Sounds like a trying time for sure. People can never fathom the type of mess it makes from all the ash unless they have been in it. Hawaii has the most likely for eruption now as one of the volcano lava has lowered into the ground and they expect it to resurface somewhere. Thanks for replying and I hope you never have to go through that again also.

We had 3 apartment complex's in Oreon's Washington County.. And when it hit we had lots of clean up to do and the County and Cities said we had a deadline or fines.. Was a real mess.Cleaning roofs gutters parking lots and playgrounds.. plus taking care of the 11 children at home at that time.. Thankful we are retired, single story house and if it happened again I think I could handle it .. But pray it does not happen again in my lifetime

Brings back some memories....I was in Florida working as a bartender at the worst bar in town no less. The truck drivers with the nicer rigs preferred not to go to Oregon...so they camped out in the parking lot..rather than work.
