I'm truly sorry to hear about your friend. My best friend was closer than family and had been for years...it was hard for me to lose her but all the great memories still make me smile. It takes time...

My Dearest Sandy...Thank you for being enough of a friend to let me know how you are really doing. Venting is a good thing! You know I wish I could just wave my magic wand and make it all better but I can't...What I can do is let you know you are a good friend and I do think about you. I worry because I know things have not gone well for you this year and it does affect your health. You already know puppies and kittens are GOOD for your health so have you thought about getting another puppy? We ended up with a new kitten a few weeks ago and he makes me smile enough to forget some of my worries for awhile. His name is Gizmo and my son almost ran over him on his bike a few weeks ago. The kitten was at the park in the path he was riding on and well...I didn't think the poor thing was going to make it thru the night he was so malnourished and sick. We already have 6 cats so I said we'll make him better and then he goes...NO MORE CATS! anyway, mr personality is still here and I just shake my head and laugh because he is so cute!
Gizmo at Halloween...he was still pretty sick here but he's all better now.

Good morning! I thought I would bring the coffee this morning! It sounds like you still have some things going on but hopefully it is going a bit easier than before. The weather should be getting better soon so spring has a way of giving fresh hope. I haven't been on much due to work...they have me bouncing from evening shift to a grave shift and I think it's starting to catch up to me. I guess the good thing is i walk about 7 hours out of 8 so it makes the time go faster not to mention I'm finally getting some exercise!
I'm trying to work things out to get back to Alberta in a few months and I would love to buy you a real cup of coffee one day! I'm usually there for only one day for shareholders meetings but next time I would like to spend a couple of days there.
When you have time stop by the cozy cabin to say hi...there's some good people there and it's a good place to leave updates and get a smile for the day.
