It came up in a google search when I was researching for other information for Cherokee.

Music? I love music. It is what feeds my soul for any given moment and reason. I don't have a favorite type of music, however, I do have favorite music in all types...too many to list, let alone remember them all.
Favorite Hobbies:
Drawing, graphic arts, and sound recording ...

and pretty much anything to do with the great outdoors.
Favorite Quote:
"Nothing happens unless first we dream."
About Me:
An appropriate place to begin seems to be with my heritage.

My father was born on the rez in Oklahoma in 1920... proudly, my ancestors are of the Cherokee Wild Potato Clan.

My christian name is Christina Elisabeth. I am also known as Tsu-la sv-no-yi", or just "Tsula", the name given to me by my grandmother early in my life, which to this day I am not sure if it is a blessing or a curse, as we are our names, haha.

My journey thus far has been like that on the tail of a wind, being whipped over here and flung over there, full of challenges, good and bad... sort of a female version of Indiana Jones, and like that of the fox, as my name suggests, I have found myself in and out of predicaments.

I am a post production sound editor for motion pictures, videos, and television. I have also engineered and mixed music CD's for independent artists, which I find ridiculously fun.

I haven't always been a sound editor, I had a rewarding career for 25 yrs as a graphic designer for many pub houses and then later for my own design firm. About 12 yrs ago I was learning how to edit & compress video to stream on the internet for clients I designed websites for, and sound was the real issue... how to crunch the audio in a video without totally demolishing it, or having to wait so long for it to load that the computer stalled... that was the start of it all. I have been obsessed with picture sound ever since.

I have had several other "short term careers" (by choice) here and there in between or along side of life's adjustments... photo journalist, horse breeder, newspaper printer, to name a few, but the most unusual one for me is probably my OTR truck driving era. I drove an 18-wheeler with my ex-husband for awhile, for about 5 yrs. I received my Class A license to drive in 1973. Our first truck was a cabover Freightliner with NO power steering (grrr), a 350 Detroit motor, 13-spd Road Ranger, sleeper compartment, and a 45 ft. refer van.. we hauled everything from swinging beef out of Denver to NY, and suppositories from NY to LA, Sara Lee, Keeblers, Hiram Walker, produce, finishing lumber, whatever.. you name it. All the lower 48 states and Canada. We hauled anything which paid between 70¢ to a buck a mile, and Bingo fuel was 5¢ a gallon. Back in those days it was a good living and we rarely experienced any layovers. I was only 20 yrs old and was making a good living, seeing the country, and loving life.

I have been blessed with such a full life, full of amazing lessons - the biggest classroom in the world, life - and time seems to have flown by. I have only gratitude for all the people who have come in and out of my life, each one a blessing.

    O siyo to all!
I am overwhelmed from your warm welcomes and blessings. Everyday offers a new gift, and yesterday mine was being led to this wonderful place while googling for other information.
I promise to try to visit often, and I beg for your understanding that my work commands most of my time, so it may be difficult at times, but at other times you may end up sick of me! :)
I look forward to updating my page and profile as time permits, and getting to know all of you!
