Tried to send you the article I did on wolves but it is too lengthy for here. In the spring I would love to come out your way for a visit. You do great things.....thank you!!!
Good Morning Spirit Wolf, I am sorry to hear about the loss of your wife. Never easy those things...my sister and I are all that is left of my group...she is the oldest of us kids and I am the youngest which sure ain't young any more. Thank you for caring for our wolf family. I was raised to appreciate them as being among our wisest animal teachers who should be appreciated rather than feared as they are today by so many. Here in Washington people have read far too many old fairy tales and are mind stuck in the misconceptions about them. Very sad for sure and the wondrous things they have done since being reintroduced in Yellowstone is just amazing but goes over the heads of so many. Ranchers have the same fears with the bison. Guess the bad is easier to hold on to than the truth about our natural family. You are special in this way as well and you certainly have my respect.
Be well my brother....may you continue to do such great things all your days.
I used to write articles for a magazine and did one on wolves. I will send it along later today.
Walk in peace this day...
Osiyo Spirit Wolf....being retired is good in it's own way. Sometimes I think it could be spelled re-tired from all the honey do lists but that just goes with the territory...lol. I see you are in Tulsa....I was raised in Atoka back in the early 50's. My dad and his brother raised peanuts and watermelon there until we moved west in the mid 50's. Living in Washington state now and enjoy the mountains and animals. Hope to keep in touch with you if you are okay with that. Be well my brother !
Happy early Birthday Spirit Wolf. I hope your day will be special for you and if you are on the road that you will be safe in your travels. Thank you for your service for sure!!
