I have spent the last 4 days  with a Friend

A real Friend, one I chose to  define as Family.

She  has just lost her Mom and 2 years ago her

Father a WWII Veteran..

For years we have been close I have watched he

r Children grow up... We are  so lucky   no matter how long

of time we are apart it is like  we never had  a time of seperation..

We  always know where the others heart  is  and never  feel  the other is intruding on what some call their private lives..

I hope you all have such a Friend  in your life

One who sees the changes in your world

That someone who  will be there in the toughest of times

Someone who will help you   openly  voice your concerns

When you know   you have to plan  for the future

As you see  the important one in your life  forgetting

Sometimes returning to a  world long ago living his  war again

Yes when you reach my age

You count your blessings everyday

But I am also blessed with one who asked??

Do you have plans if you die first??

Do you have plans if  you can no longer care for  Him?

Life has many  twists and turns

Nothing is promised me or anyone else but

God has blessed me with  that Special someone  who knows 

I have plans in place, people in place

And can live my days to the fullest possible..

I do hope God has Blessed  each of you who read this.

and have been blessed with such a Friend and that I am  such a Friend to Her..

I have always enjoyed playing music at the nursing homes. Been spending a little time there lately with a friend of mine who is recovering from knee surgery. It is good to reflect and think about the future. It is human nature to be discontent or we would have no desire to live. As far as your question goes...I would have to go with the sying, the heaven is my father , the earth is my mother and all living things are my brothers.

Thank you for the kind words Dean.. Truth is Many of my posts are because something inside said share a story, or express your feeling .. Many times I sit down and it all just appears in words.. Other times people in my life touch me in such a profound way I have to share what they wrote or said.... and it leaves me with a great feeling of peace inside sharing ..
