Wars Never Ending Story

When a man  puts on that uniform

His life is forever changed

When he is sent off to war his heart and soul

is forever altered and  changed

The scars run deep and many times  angry

Leaving my many  men in a no where land

Because no matter where they go

They cannot find peace

A word or noise or  action can return them to a place

many of them still call their home

Right in the middle of their worst battles

And  losses of

those who  stood  beside them

Yet if  they are  here with us at Home

They find people do not understand the changes

That have occurred

Because they were  warring Soldiers.

They cannot see the scars that run deep inside.

The wars fought will never end

Just like Vietnam

Still today  post tramatic stress still cripples many

Still today many are  just discovering Cancers caussed by Agent Orange

Still today many are taking their lives  because

Government, the VA and yes even a part of Americas  society

Still turns their backs on  my  Men and Women who  served

Wars do not end just because someone says it has

My Men and Women  may return from War

Just to  Fight  another more  personal War  Right Here At Home.

I love my  Military  and Veterans

I am tired of losing them  due to Neglect

They are  Owed  so much More
